What Does Your Dog's Day at PatiLee Look Like?
At our facility in Zekeriyaköy, Sarıyer, Istanbul, the question we hear most: "What will my dog actually do all day?" Here is the day, hour by hour:
Good morning
Wake-up and fresh air in the airing gardens.
Toilet & cleaning
Every lounge and suite cleaned and disinfected, one by one.
Meal & first play
Morning feeding, first play round, then rest.
Play–rest
Garden and lounge rotation; fresh filtered water always in front of them.
Evening meal
Dinner, toilet time, fresh air and the last play of the day.
Rest
Final checks; sleep in their own raised bed until 07:00.
Dog Boarding
Dogs stay in cageless, elevated wooden structures with 24/7 auto-refilling filtered water fountains and antibacterial flooring. Indoor and outdoor play zones give dogs room to move. We are a social facility; our guests are hosted together with other guests. If a cat or dog placed in the social environment does not get along with the others, they are moved directly to Private (VIP) Care: one of the lounges is allocated to that guest alone and the daily VIP fee (1,500 TRY + VAT) is added to the boarding. Owners may also choose Private (VIP) Care from the start.
Dogs spend most of the day active in indoor and outdoor play areas with gravel, carpet and grass flooring. The facility is under 24/7 security cameras.

Cat Boarding
Cats stay together with other cats in quiet, cage-free cat lounges kept entirely separate from the dog areas, with hypoallergenic litter and a mix of enclosed and open play areas with scratching posts and climbing structures. We are a social facility; our guests are hosted together with other guests. If a cat or dog placed in the social environment does not get along with the others, they are moved directly to Private (VIP) Care: one of the lounges is allocated to that guest alone and the daily VIP fee (1,500 TRY + VAT) is added to the boarding. Owners may also choose Private (VIP) Care from the start.
Daycare
Daycare runs from 09:00 to 19:00, with a maximum stay of 6 hours per day. It is a supervised option for owners who need their pet looked after during the day without a full overnight stay.
Facility amenities: Boarding and daycare guests may use our supervised dog pool and large garden when temperament and weather allow. Pool access is not sold as a separate service — it is part of the daily routine, at our team's discretion.

Meet-and-greet appointment
You book a meet-and-greet from the panel. You get to know our team, take a live 360-degree camera tour of the whole facility, and tell us about your dog's habits. We don't start a stay without this meet-and-greet — everything here is built around our guests' comfort, and we can't prepare the right environment for a dog we haven't met. If you're already a PatiLee member, you can go straight to making a reservation.
Membership & contract
You create your membership with a single SMS and fill in your digital contract. This is an official document — drawn up in line with Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulations — recording your dog's vaccination and health information, feeding and care details, and everything about you and your companion. You fill it in once; for later stays your details are ready in the system.
Reservation & payment
You choose your check-in and check-out dates from the panel. Once you pay in advance by bank transfer and upload the receipt, your reservation is confirmed — you'll see the confirmation in the panel.
Check-in day
All you need to bring is your dog's food and leash — nothing else. Since health and vaccination details are already in your contract, check-in is quick and effortless.
Check-out
Just like a hotel, checkout is at 10:00. Pickups after 10:00 are counted as daycare for that day. If you requested a checkout bath and grooming, your dog is bathed and handed over at the agreed time.

What is the difference between a kennel and a dog hotel?
In a typical kennel, dogs are usually kept in cages or crowded shared areas. At the PatiLee dog hotel every dog stays in its own elevated, cage-free, climate-controlled suite; it is monitored by camera 24/7 and spends the day active in the play areas.
Do you use cages for boarding?
No, there are no cages anywhere on our premises. Dogs stay in cageless elevated structures and camera-monitored suites, and cats stay in cage-free cat lounges separate from the dogs.
Which Istanbul districts do you serve?
Our facility is in Zekeriyakoy, Sariyer. We welcome guests from all over Istanbul, in particular Zekeriyakoy, Uskumrukoy, Bahcekoy, Kemerburgaz, Maslak, Istinye, Tarabya, Yenikoy, Levent and Besiktas.
Is a pre-boarding meeting required? Can we tour the facility first?
Yes, a pre-boarding meeting is required; we do not accept guests we have not met or who come without a reference. For the comfort and security of the animals already staying with us, we do not host in-person facility visits. Instead, during the meeting we give you a live 360-degree camera tour of the whole facility, which is also under 24/7 camera recording.
Do you share photos or videos during the stay?
We post on social media weekly, free of charge; daily updates are not part of our standard service. On request we offer paid personalised updates: 300 TRY per photo and 600 TRY per video, purchased as a bundle at the start of the stay and sent gradually throughout. The facility is monitored by camera 24/7.
Do you accept dogs with behavioural problems?
Dogs with behavioural problems are accepted for boarding only as part of a training programme; they receive Special (VIP) care, stay in a separate area away from the other dogs, and follow an individually arranged daily routine under a trainer's supervision.
What should we bring for boarding?
Bring your pet's regular food, any medication with clear instructions, a familiar toy or blanket, and vaccination records.
Is there a maximum daycare duration?
Yes, daycare runs 09:00 to 19:00, capped at 6 hours per day. For longer stays, overnight boarding applies.
What time is checkout?
Just like a hotel, checkout is at 10:00. Pickups after 10:00 are counted as daycare for that day. If you requested a checkout bath, your dog is bathed and groomed, then handed over at the agreed time.
Do you accept unvaccinated or unmicrochipped dogs? Can I leave a dog I rescued from the street with you temporarily?
No. Under Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulations we can only host dogs that are fully vaccinated and have a registered microchip. We cannot provide boarding for newly rescued strays without a vaccination card and microchip, and we do not offer shelter or foster care either. Vaccination and microchipping must first be completed by your veterinarian — once these are done, they are welcome as our guests.
What are your admission requirements?
- Vaccinations and a microchip are mandatory; we do not provide shelter or foster care for newly rescued, unvaccinated/unmicrochipped animals.
- Dogs with behavioural problems (aggression, bite risk) are not admitted to standard boarding; they are hosted only within our training programme, with Private (VIP) care in a separate area.
- Private (VIP) Care rule. We are a social facility; our guests are hosted together with other guests. If a cat or dog placed in the social environment does not get along with the others, they are moved directly to Private (VIP) Care: one of the lounges is allocated to that guest alone and the daily VIP fee (1,500 TRY + VAT) is added to the boarding. Owners may also choose Private (VIP) Care from the start.
- We cannot accept animals needing treatment or with an unclear health status, as we cannot provide the required medical supervision and isolation.
- Cats must be neutered/spayed.
- A meet-and-greet before booking is required.
