At our dog hotel in Zekeriyaköy, Sarıyer, the day starts with fresh air at 7 a.m. and ends with a night's rest. We are open Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00, and checkout is at 10:00; your dog spends the day in the social lounges and play areas, with an elevated suite of their own. Here is our day, hour by hour:

How Does Boarding Work?

Free meet-and-greet appointment
You book a free meet-and-greet appointment in My Account; we do not charge for the first appointment. You meet our team, tour the whole facility through our live 360-degree cameras and tell us about your dog's habits. We cannot work without this meet-and-greet ritual — because everything here is designed entirely around the comfort and well-being of our guests; we cannot prepare the right environment for your dog without getting to know them. If you are already a PatiLee member, there is no need to meet again; you can simply make a booking.
Membership and contract
You create your membership with a single SMS and fill in your digital contract. It is an official contract, drawn up under Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulations, that records your dog's vaccination and health information, feeding and care details, and every detail about you and your companion. You fill it in once; for later stays your information is ready in the system.
Booking and payment
In My Account you choose the check-in and check-out dates you want. Your booking is confirmed once you pay the fee in advance by card (3D Secure) or bank transfer/EFT (for a transfer, just upload your receipt); you see the confirmation in My Account as well.
Arrival day
All you need to bring when you drop off your dog is their food and leash — we need nothing else. Health and vaccination information is already recorded in your contract, so check-in is quick and effortless. After drop-off you can leave the rest to us with confidence; the facility is camera-monitored for security.
Checkout
Just like a hotel, our checkout time is 10:00 in the morning. Checkouts after 10:00 are counted as daycare / day boarding for that day. If you requested a bath and grooming on checkout day, your dog is bathed, groomed and handed over to you at the agreed time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does my dog do all day at the facility?
The day starts at 07:00 in the outdoor yards; between 07:00 and 09:00 the dogs relieve themselves while the lounges are cleaned and disinfected. Morning food and the first play session are at 09:00. Throughout the day, groups take turns going out from the lounges to the grass, turf and gravel yards to play and get fresh air; fresh filtered water is always available. Evening food is at 17:00, followed by a toilet break and the last play session; at 18:30 every guest is checked individually and settles into its bedded suite to rest until 07:00.
What is the difference between a dog kennel and a dog hotel?
In a classic dog kennel, dogs are usually kept in cages or crowded shared areas. At the PatiLee dog hotel every dog stays in its own elevated, cage-free, climate-controlled suite; it is monitored by camera and spends the day active in the play areas.
Is there a difference between an animal hotel, a pet hotel and a dog hotel?
They are all different names for the same service: animal hotel, pet hotel and dog hotel describe the same kind of place. PatiLee is a premium pet hotel in Zekeriyaköy, Sarıyer, Istanbul, with cage-free suites, camera monitoring and a Ministry of Agriculture licence; dog and cat boarding take place in separate sections.
Do you use cages at your facility?
No, there are no cages anywhere at our facility. Dogs stay in elevated wooden suites.
Which Istanbul districts do you serve?
Our facility is in Zekeriyaköy, Sarıyer. We welcome guests from all over Istanbul, in particular Zekeriyaköy, Uskumruköy, Bahçeköy, Kemerburgaz, Maslak, İstinye, Tarabya, Yeniköy, Levent and Beşiktaş.
Is a meet-and-greet required before booking? Can we tour the facility?
Yes, a meet-and-greet before booking is required; we do not accept guests who come without a reference or whom we have not met. For the peace of our guests and for security reasons, we do not host in-person visits inside the facility; instead, during the meet-and-greet we show you the facility through a live 360-degree camera. The facility is also monitored by camera.
Do you share photos or videos during the stay?
We post on social media weekly, free of charge. During the stay we try, whenever possible, to share photos and videos in the daily report card; sharing every day or every stay is not guaranteed. You can see the report card in My Account.
Do you accept dogs with behavioural problems?
Dogs with behavioural problems are accepted for boarding only as part of our training service and are not admitted to standard boarding. They receive Private (VIP) care, stay in a separate area away from the other dogs, and follow a separately arranged daily routine under a trainer's supervision.
What should I bring for boarding?
Your dog's food and leash are all you need to bring — nothing else. Vaccination and health information is recorded in your contract at registration, so no extra documents are needed on arrival day; water bowls, bedding and everything else are provided at the facility.
Is there a maximum daycare duration?
Yes, daycare runs 09:00–19:00 and is capped at 6 hours per day. For longer stays, overnight boarding applies.
What time is checkout?
Just like a hotel, checkout is at 10:00. Checkouts after 10:00 are counted as daycare / day boarding for that day. If you requested a bath on checkout day, your dog is bathed and groomed and handed over at the agreed time.
Do you accept unvaccinated or unmicrochipped dogs? Can I leave a dog I rescued from the street with you temporarily?
No. Under Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulations we can only host dogs that are fully vaccinated and have a registered microchip. We cannot provide boarding for newly rescued dogs without a vaccination card and microchip, and we do not offer shelter or foster care either. Vaccination and microchipping must first be completed by your veterinarian — once these are done, they are welcome as our guests.
What are your admission requirements?
- Vaccinations and a microchip are required; we do not provide shelter or foster care for newly rescued, unvaccinated/unmicrochipped animals.
- Dogs with behavioural problems (aggression, bite risk) are not admitted to standard boarding; they are hosted only within our training service, with Private (VIP) care in a separate area.
- VIP Boarding rule. Ours is a social facility; our guests are hosted together with other guests. If a dog placed in the social environment does not get along with the others, it is moved directly to VIP Boarding: one of the lounges is allocated to that dog alone and the stay is charged at the VIP nightly rate (3,000 TRY + VAT). Owners may also choose VIP Boarding from the start.
- We cannot accept animals that need treatment or whose health status is unclear, as we cannot provide the required medical follow-up and isolation.
- A meet-and-greet before booking is required.
