Terms of Service
These terms apply to every boarding, daycare, grooming and training service booked with PatiLee, and are formalized in the digital service contract each family signs with SMS verification.
This Service (Works) Agreement governs the rights and obligations between the pet owner receiving services from PatiLee Premium Pet Resort and our business, and is identical to the contract text you approve electronically during registration. The Cancellation and Refund Terms for cancellations/refunds, the Distance Sales Agreement for the terms of sale and the Working Terms for daily operations are annexes to this agreement.
1) Parties
The Business: Ayşegül ÜNER (PatiLee Premium Pet Resort), Uskumruköy Mh. Enez Sok. No:2/1, Sarıyer / İstanbul · Sarıyer Tax Office 3590169696 · 0850 840 86 00 · patilee@patilee.com. Referred to in this agreement as “PatiLee”.
The Pet Owner: the person whose identity and contact details are given in the registration/payment form; referred to as “the Owner”.
The agreement forms a whole together with its annexes and enters into force on the date of approval.
2) Subject of the Agreement (Work)
This works contract covers the provision of accommodation, feeding, care, transport, bathing/hygiene clipping, pool, training and consultancy services, under special and suitable conditions, to the pet identified in the form while it is not with its family.
3) Conditions of Acceptance
3.1 Animals that have received the vaccinations determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Turkish Veterinary Medical Association, and that have a vaccination record and a microchip, are accepted. Animals without a current vaccination card are not accepted.
3.2 Unneutered or scent-marking cats, newborn puppies and kittens, and animals requiring medical monitoring or whose state of health is uncertain are not accepted.in separate care and without socialisation; an additional cleaning fee may apply for a scent-marking cat.
3.3 Dogs presenting a risk of aggression or biting are not admitted to standard boarding; they are hosted only within the scope of training, in a separate area.
3.4 The animal is handed over free of health problems, with its vaccination record and its own food.
3.5 The owner of an unneutered animal is obliged to know and monitor its season. An animal in season, or approaching it, may not be handed over and will not be accepted. If the season begins during boarding, art. 10.1 applies.
4) The Owner's Obligations and Declaration
4.1 The Owner completes the agreement fully and with accurate declarations.
4.2 Any illness and any socialisation or aggression problem must be declared; if not declared, the Owner is liable for all financial and physical damage arising. For unneutered animals, the season is not a matter of declaration but a condition of acceptance (see art. 3.5).
4.3 Medication and special-care needs are notified in writing (see art. 8).
4.4 The Owner may not claim to be unaware of the service and its conditions (art. 2 of the Turkish Civil Code).
5) The Business's Obligations and Limits of Liability
5.1 PatiLee is obliged to provide care, accommodation, training, transport, bathing and hygiene clipping services in accordance with the agreement to animals handed over in compliance with the rules. It is closed to requests and expectations outside the agreement and accepts no liability towards third parties.
5.2 Animals are boarded under the conditions determined by PatiLee.
5.3 PatiLee is not liable for ordinary scratches, bruises or injuries that may occur during social play and socialisation or caused by the animal itself (stress, allergy, enclosed space etc.), nor for damage the animal may cause to the facility or to itself due to stress where isolation has been requested. By granting or withholding permission for socialisation, these possibilities are accepted. The facility is a social facility; an animal placed in the social environment that does not get along with the others is moved directly to Private (VIP) Care (one of the lounges is allocated to that animal alone) and the daily VIP fee per the current price list is added to the boarding; the Owner may also choose VIP from the start.
5.4 Temporary eye redness may occur after bathing and grooming. Only a hygiene clip may be performed; where scissors or clippers are used, neglected or matted coats may show marks and irritation. A basic check-out grooming is performed on departure; a full bath is a separate, chargeable service.
5.5 There is no 24/7 personal live camera stream; the cameras exist for facility security. Camera recordings are not shared with third parties; save for the competent judicial and administrative authorities, PatiLee is under no obligation whatsoever to share recordings.
6) Payment, Prices and Late Payment
6.1 All payments are made in advance; price changes during the period are accepted.
6.2 Long-term payments are made between the 1st and 5th of each month; whether or not the animal is brought in does not change the fee.
6.3 If the animal is not collected on the specified date, a late fee accrues at the daily rate.
6.4 If the debt is not paid, commercial default interest is applied pursuant to art. 1530 of the Turkish Commercial Code and the receivable is collected through enforcement proceedings.
7) Boarding Routine and Working Hours
7.1 At the start of the working day, all guests' toileting, eating and feeding needs are met; the facility is cleaned and disinfected.
7.2 Guests are taken to their lounges or rooms to rest; during the day they are taken to the gardens in turn according to their energy and sleep patterns. Dogs are grouped according to their socialisation.
7.3 Our staff are present in the areas where guests are kept, but no member of staff is stationed with them at all times. Guests rest in their lounges and rooms; during working hours they may sunbathe in the gardens, rest in shaded (covered, ventilated) areas or play. Staff may be with the guests at such times, or may be carrying out general checks, cleaning and similar duties; they do not keep watch. Some of our staff live on site; they retire after working hours and intervene in an emergency.
7.4 During the night's rest, guests are not disturbed unless there is an unexpected noise.
7.5 Working hours are Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00; the facility is closed on Sundays and no check-in/out takes place. The working hours are stated on our website and in the business panel. Check-out outside these hours is not possible, for the sake of our other guests.
7.6 Check-out must take place by 10:00 during the day; thereafter daycare is chargeable. Daycare falls within working hours and lasts a maximum of 6 hours; if exceeded, the boarding fee is charged.
8) Health, Veterinary Care and Emergencies
8.1 In the case of natural ailments arising from low immunity, insufficient vaccination or the group environment (e.g. conjunctivitis, allergy), the Owner is informed.
8.2 For illnesses arising later, the veterinarian named by the Owner is contacted first. The veterinarian contacted must examine the animal at the facility or arrange its collection from the facility by their own means; the animal is not transported off site by PatiLee.
8.3 If the veterinarian cannot be reached, does not attend or arrange collection within a reasonable time, or if the situation is urgent, the veterinarian or clinic PatiLee deems appropriate is engaged. The Owner hereby consents to this.
8.4 All transport, examination, treatment and medication costs are payable by the Owner and may not be disputed.
8.5 As a rule, animals on medication should not be brought for boarding. In necessary cases the team may assist upon the Owner's written instructions (name, dose and time of the medicine); this is not an undertaking and PatiLee does not assume responsibility for administering medication. An Owner who delivers an animal together with medication is deemed to have accepted this condition and its consequences.
8.6 Socialisation in groups inherently carries the possibility of pushing, friction or fighting between guests. In such an event the relevant owners are informed and, where necessary, a veterinarian is engaged pursuant to arts. 8.2 and 8.3. Any examination and treatment costs arising are payable by the Owner of the animal concerned. An Owner who permits socialisation is deemed to have accepted this risk and may not hold PatiLee liable.
9) Training
9.1 Because of the exercise, training and feeding regime applied, weight loss is normal in the initial period; muscle mass then increases.
9.2 The Owner may see their dog for short periods, provided they book an appointment in advance and behave as instructed by the trainer.
9.3 The food, any veterinary costs and the medication of dogs in training are payable by the Owner.
9.4 Work is carried out within the programme during the adaptation period; an Owner who does not attend appointments or does not comply with the programme is deemed to have accepted the shortcomings, and no make-up lesson is given.
10) Termination of the Agreement and Early Handover
In the following cases the agreement is terminated and the animal is handed back to its Owner. No account is taken of whether the Owner is in the area at that time and on that date; the animal must be collected by the Owner or by a relative authorised by the Owner. Uninformed excuses are not welcome in this regard.
10.1 Season: A female animal that comes into season during boarding is handed over immediately, as this would disrupt the entire order and peace of the facility. An Owner who hands over an animal already in season, or about to come into season, is obliged to collect it immediately.
10.2 Behaviour: In cases of unusual barking, howling, excessive stress, self-harm or damage to the premises and similar behaviour.
10.3 False declaration: Where it emerges that illness, aggression or socialisation status was declared incompletely or incorrectly.
10.4 Late long-term payment: The arrangement is terminated and retrospective discounts are collected.
10.5 Interference with operations: During boarding and training, frequent calls that disrupt operations outside the designated contact times, unannounced demands for intervention and instructions without a professional basis impair the quality of the service. In such cases PatiLee may terminate the service unilaterally; the Owner collects the animal immediately and no refund is made for the remaining period.
10.6 Failure to collect the animal or to pay: If the Owner does not collect the animal on the specified date or delays payment, written notice is sent to their registered telephone number and e-mail address. If the animal is not collected or the debt is not paid within 3 days of that notice, the animal is rehomed at PatiLee's discretion to a shelter, foundation, association or volunteers; the debt is collected through enforcement proceedings.
10.7 In the event of termination, refunds are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Terms.
11) Communication
Unless something unexpected occurs, you will not be contacted; insistence is not welcome. Health and emergency notifications are made in accordance with art. 8. The Owner is obliged to keep at least one contactable telephone number up to date.
12) Use of Images and Private Photo/Video Service
12.1 PatiLee is not a social media company. Our team's duty is the care, safety, health and training of our guests; there is no dedicated staff member or time for private photo or video shoots.
12.2 In response to strong demand from families, private photographs, videos and live calls are defined as a separate, chargeable service; families who wish may purchase them during booking or over the course of the stay via the panel. Current prices are in the Price List. Where they are not purchased, no one-to-one sharing of images is made.
12.3 PatiLee has the right to use images of the animals boarding with it on its own social media accounts and website (usually weekly, free of charge); it undertakes that such images will not be immoral or demeaning. The Owner may not claim any fee or compensation; they may request removal, and PatiLee will consider and decide.
12.4 During training, the trainer shares images on social media as they see fit.
13) Declaration, Notification and Jurisdiction
13.1 The identity and address/telephone details provided are genuine; notifications sent to these addresses shall be deemed valid, failing which art. 35 of the Notification Law shall apply.
13.2 This document is of an official nature; administrative inspections, sanctions and fines arising from false or incomplete declarations are recoverable from the Owner.
13.3 The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul shall have jurisdiction in disputes.
