Terms of Service
These terms apply to every boarding, daycare, grooming, training, transfer, sourcing and consulting service booked with PatiLee, and are formalized in the notarized service contract signed with each family.
1. Definitions
"PatiLee", "we", "us" or "the business" refers to PatiLee Premium Pet Resort, operating in Zekeriyakoy, Sariyer, Istanbul, and licensed by Turkey's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. "Owner" or "family" refers to the person or household who owns the animal and books a service. "Animal" or "pet" refers to the dog, cat or other pet placed in our care. "Contract" refers to the notarized service contract (Eser Sozlesmesi under Turkish law) signed before each service begins.
2. Pet Owner Obligations
Owners must provide complete, accurate and up-to-date vaccination and health records for their animal before any boarding, daycare, grooming or training service begins. Every animal undergoes an intake health check on arrival. Owners are liable for any undisclosed health issue, past aggression, or behavioral history that was not communicated to us in advance, including any resulting cost, delay or harm. Owners must also treat our staff with respect; abusive or aggressive behavior toward staff is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and the service.
3. Business Obligations
We agree to provide the service described in the contract to the standard advertised on this site: cageless housing, camera-monitored suites, filtered water access, climate control, and the specific service purchased. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any animal that is aggressive, highly anxious, or unwell, for the safety of that animal, our staff, and our other guests. If an animal becomes disruptive or unsafe to house during a stay, we may terminate the contract immediately and ask the owner to arrange pickup.
4. General Provisions
PatiLee is not liable for injuries that occur during normal, supervised play between animals, for self-inflicted harm by an animal, or for illness arising from a weak immune system, vaccine failure, or exposure common to any shared animal environment. Our pricing is fixed and non-negotiable, and is confirmed in writing before a service begins. Boarding is billed per night, with a checkout time of 10:00. Cancellation and refund terms are as follows: during normal periods, if a cancellation is notified at least 3 days before the scheduled service date, the amount paid may be refunded. No refund is given for last-minute cancellations (less than 3 days before the service date). For reservations during public holidays and religious festivals (bayram), no refund is given in the event of cancellation.
5. Training
Dog training programs are designed and delivered by our training team, led by E.Asb. Irsat Uner, using positive-reinforcement methods customized to each dog. Programs begin at $1,000 USD, with the final price depending on the dog's needs and the length of the program, confirmed after our observation and assessment stages. Owners should be aware that some dogs may lose a small amount of weight during the early stages of a training program, as a result of increased exercise and adjusted feeding routines. This is expected and monitored by our team, not a sign of neglect.
6. Communication
To keep the environment calm and focused for the animals in our care, we limit unnecessary contact with owners during a boarding or training stay to scheduled updates, except in the case of a genuine emergency, which we will always communicate immediately.
7. Photo & Social Media Sharing
During the service, PatiLee may share photos and videos of guests on its own social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) without asking for separate permission; by using the service, the owner accepts this in advance. These posts are part of our ordinary promotional and transparency flow and are usually made on a weekly schedule.
The standard service does not include daily personalized photo/video delivery. Any additional personalized image or video request is subject to a fee and special conditions; such content is purchased by the unit at the start of the stay and delivered gradually throughout (see the Pricing page for current rates).
