Dog Training in Istanbul
- Free 15-min consultation
- Program built around your dog
- Training + boarding together
At our dog training center in Zekeriyakoy, Istanbul, programs are designed by E.Asb. Irsat Uner, a trainer with a military background. What sets us apart from a classic dog school: every dog arrives with different needs, so every program is shaped around your dog specifically.
ICONK9 Training System From basics to advanced protection, every program runs on PatiLee's own system.

Positive Method, Measured Approach
Our training relies on correct reinforcement, not pressure or fear. Irsat Uner's military-derived discipline is combined with a patient, consistent approach to training. The goal is not to change the dog alone, but to build up the communication a dog and its owner share.
All dog training at PatiLee is delivered with our own ICONK9 training system — from basic and advanced obedience to behavior correction, socialization and advanced working and protection work, all under one discipline and method. Explore the full program structure at iconk9.com.
Every program begins with an assessment (test): we look at your dog's age, temperament and behavior history, and the right path is set after that test. We do not turn away behavior problems such as aggression, severe anxiety or disobedience — these are exactly what training is for, and when needed they run in a separate, controlled setting. We sign a digital service contract with every family, drawn up in line with Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulations; our prices are published and not open to negotiation.

ICONK9 Training System
At our training centre in Zekeriyaköy, Sarıyer, Istanbul, all of our programs — from basic obedience to advanced protection and working-dog training — are delivered with our own ICONK9 system — a measurable, consistent method built on positive reinforcement rather than pressure. Before we get to prices, here is how the system works: no program starts before we know your dog, and every one moves through four stages.
ICONK9 System runs in four stages
-
Free Consultation
First we meet: in a free conversation we get to understand your dog's situation, history and your expectations. You book the appointment from your member panel.
-
Character & Behaviour Analysis (Test)
Your dog is assessed on site: we see its age, temperament and behavioural history first-hand. The right training path is set by this analysis, not by guesswork.
-
Evaluation Meeting: Programme & Duration
We share the results in a meeting: a written test report and a training plan come out of it; the programme's content, duration and fee are settled here.
-
Training
Your dog stays at our facility for the duration of the programme; commands are learned inside the daily routine, not in a classroom. You follow the process from your member panel.
-
Final Report, Handover & Adaptation
As training ends we prepare a written final report; at handover we run an adaptation session with you so the gains last at home.
What We Train and Advise On
Whatever exists in dog training worldwide has its counterpart in the ICONK9 system. Which programme suits your dog is decided together at the meeting after the test. Programmes delivered at our Turkey campus and those we run only at international campuses are listed separately.
Programmes delivered at our Turkey campus
- Basic obedience — sit, stay, come, loose-leash walking; every dog's core programme.
- Advanced obedience — reliable obedience at a distance and under distractions.
- Behaviour correction — aggression, anxiety, barking, separation anxiety; we do not turn these dogs away.
- Puppy training, house training and socialisation — core habits and proper communication with other dogs in the 8–16 week window.
- Territory protection — for homes, land and businesses; with dogs of suitable temperament.
- Personal protection (bodyguard) — advanced level; for dogs with a solid obedience foundation.
- Show and ring training — stance, gait and composure in front of the judge for competitions and exhibitions.
- Pre-adoption consultancy — choosing the breed and the dog that fit your lifestyle; puppy or adult, shelter or breeder.
- Behaviour and family-integration consultancy — household routine, child–dog relationship, a second dog, and transitions such as moving house or a new baby.
Programmes we run at international campuses
- Service and assistance dog trainingNot offered at the Turkey campus — working dogs for people with disabilities.
- Search and rescue trainingNot offered at the Turkey campus — rubble, trailing and area search.

The PatiLee Difference
We run dog training not as a "course" but as a system that starts with measurement and ends with a written report. Our difference is in the method:
- Assessment first, then the program — we never write a program for a dog we haven't tested; age, temperament and behavioural history are seen in the field, and the program and its length are settled at the evaluation meeting.
- Learning inside real life — training is board-and-train; your dog learns commands not in a classroom but within the facility's daily routine. One discipline, one method: the ICONK9 system.
- We don't turn problems away — aggression, severe anxiety, barking and similar behavioural issues are the very subject of training; where needed, handled in a separate, controlled area to the VIP standard — with no VIP fee, only the standard nightly rate.
- Written report, lasting results, transparent fees — you follow the process from your panel; at the end, a written results report and an adaptation stage so the gains last at home. Training fee, boarding and extras on separate lines; prices published and fixed.
Board-and-Train: The Dog School Model
Most of our training programs run as board-and-train: for the length of the program your dog stays at our facility in their own raised suites, joins planned sessions under the trainer's supervision every day and spends the rest of the time socializing in the play areas. What sets us apart from a classic dog school is that training is woven into the daily routine — the dog learns commands not in a classroom but in a real-life environment. When training ends, the adaptation stage carries the gains into your home.
How board-and-train is charged: during the program your dog is boarded to the Private (VIP) Care standard (trainer supervision, one-to-one attention), but no VIP fee is charged for this; only the standard nightly boarding rate applies. The total is made up of: training fee + boarding (nights × nightly rate) + any extra items such as food, supplements or veterinary costs. Each item appears as a separate line in your agreement and account statement; prices exclude VAT.
Puppy Training and Socialization
For puppies, the 8–16 week period is the most critical window for socialization and basic habits. Programs that start in this period cover house training, basic obedience and controlled socialization; families who wish can combine training with dog daycare days so the puppy learns to communicate correctly with other dogs faster.
Test Levels & Fees
Every program starts with a test based on your dog's age and condition; the right program is set after the test. All programs follow the ICONK9 training system.
Puppy / Early Stage
Adolescent / Young
Developing / Adult
Established Behavior
Serious / Complex
Training Fee
The base price can change depending on your dog's age, history and the scope of the program; every program is delivered with the ICONK9 system.
| Service | Description | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Dog Training | Base price, increases with the dog's needs and program length | Starting at $1,000 USD + VAT |
| Board-and-Train | Training fee + standard nightly boarding (delivered to VIP care standard, no VIP fee) + any food / supplement / veterinary items | Training + boarding + extras, + VAT |
Training doesn't end at graduation. During the graduation stage we review, together with the owner, the commands and behavior patterns your dog has learned and share practical tips for keeping them up at home. Whether the results last depends largely on the family's consistency at home.
